50 Learning Paths Now Available on LearningBro
We have added 48 new learning paths to LearningBro, bringing the total to 50. The new paths span 11 Plus entrance exams, GCSE and A-Level subjects across multiple exam boards, and professional technology certifications, joining our existing paths for UCAT, LNAT, and more.
What Is a Learning Path?
A learning path is a curated sequence of courses designed to take you from your starting point to your goal in a logical, step-by-step order. Rather than browsing through individual courses and deciding what to study next, a learning path lays out the entire journey for you.
Each path includes:
- A defined sequence of courses arranged in the order that makes the most sense for building knowledge progressively. Foundational topics come first, and more advanced material builds on what you have already covered.
- Built-in progress tracking so you can see exactly where you are in the path, what percentage you have completed, and what comes next.
- All the tools you already use on LearningBro — flashcards, practice exams, AI tutor hints, weakness tracking, and notes — available at every step along the way.
The key advantage of a learning path over studying individual courses is structure. When you are preparing for an exam, knowing what to study is only half the challenge. Knowing when to study each topic, and in what order, can make the difference between scattered revision and a coherent understanding of the subject.
11 Plus Entrance Exam Paths
For families preparing for selective school entrance exams, we have added paths for the four major 11 Plus formats:
- GL Assessment — covering verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English, and mathematics in the GL format
- CEM (Durham University) — the CEM-style papers that combine verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning
- CSSE (Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex) — tailored to the specific format used by Essex grammar schools
- SET (Selective Eligibility Test) — preparation for the SET format used by schools in certain regions
Each path guides students through the specific question types, techniques, and practice they need for their particular exam format, rather than offering a generic 11 Plus course that may not match the test they will actually sit.
GCSE Paths Across AQA and Edexcel
The GCSE paths cover the subjects and exam boards that the majority of students in England are studying. We have built paths for both AQA and Edexcel across the sciences, and added AQA paths for the remaining popular subjects.
Sciences:
- GCSE Biology AQA and GCSE Biology Edexcel
- GCSE Chemistry AQA and GCSE Chemistry Edexcel
- GCSE Physics AQA and GCSE Physics Edexcel
- GCSE Combined Science AQA and GCSE Combined Science Edexcel
Mathematics and English:

These paths are particularly useful for students who want to follow a complete revision programme rather than dipping in and out of individual topics. If you are starting your GCSE revision and want a clear route through the entire specification, a learning path gives you that structure.
A-Level Paths
The A-Level paths are the largest group in this release, reflecting the breadth of subjects at this level.
Sciences:
- A-Level Biology (AQA, Edexcel)
- A-Level Chemistry (AQA)
- A-Level Physics (AQA)
Mathematics:
- A-Level Mathematics
- A-Level Further Mathematics
Humanities and Social Sciences:
- A-Level English Language and English Literature (AQA)
- A-Level Geography (AQA)

Each A-Level path takes you through the full two-year specification in a structured order. For students starting Year 12, this means you can follow the path alongside your lessons. For Year 13 students preparing for exams, the path serves as a comprehensive revision programme that ensures you cover every topic.

Beyond academic subjects, we have added paths for professionals and career changers working towards technology certifications and skills.

How to Get Started
You can browse all 50 learning paths from the paths page on LearningBro. Each path shows you the full list of courses included, the estimated time to complete, and your current progress if you have already started any of the courses.
To begin a path, simply open it and start the first course. Your progress is tracked automatically, and you can pick up where you left off at any time. There is no need to commit to the entire path upfront — you can work through it at your own pace, whether that means one lesson a day or an intensive weekend of revision.
If you are unsure which path is right for you, look for the one that matches your exam board and subject. For technology paths, choose the one that aligns with your career goals or the certification you are working towards.
All learning paths are available to every LearningBro subscriber, and trial users can explore them during their 7-day free trial.
