The AI tutor has six parts. Hints: if you're stuck on a quiz question before answering, it gives you a nudge. Wrong-answer explanations: if you submit a wrong answer, you can ask why it was wrong and the tutor explains it without giving the right answer outright. Lesson chat: every lesson has a built-in chat tutor scoped to that lesson — type your question or tap the mic to speak, and tap a reply to have it read aloud. Examiner Mode: paste your answer to a question and the AI marks it sentence by sentence the way a real examiner thinks aloud — showing exactly which phrases earned which AO marks, what was missing, and what phrasing would lift you to the next grade. The AI — using a more powerful model for detailed analysis — gives you rubric-based feedback: marks per Assessment Objective, a band descriptor, your strengths, areas for improvement, and a suggested rewrite of your weakest paragraph. You can submit up to 5 essays per day. This is a practice tool to help you improve — marks are indicative and may not exactly match what an examiner would give on the day.
