Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 April 2026
By using LearningBro, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — sections 2 and 3 set out your subscription and consumer rights under UK law.
Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and you are responsible for keeping your password secure. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, contact us immediately at support@learningbro.com.
Subscription, Auto-Renewal & Payment
Access to course content requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are provided on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as you choose at checkout). All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details on our servers. Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email you a reminder 10–14 days before each renewal so you can decide whether to continue. We will also notify you if we propose to change the price of your subscription, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
Your Consumer Rights — Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel any new paid subscription and receive a full refund, even if you have used the service. To exercise this right, email refunds@learningbro.com within 14 days of subscribing. Outside the 14-day window we do not generally offer refunds for partial billing periods, but if you are unhappy with the service please contact us — we resolve genuine complaints quickly.
Acceptable Use
You may not share your account credentials, redistribute course content, scrape the platform with automated tools, or attempt to circumvent technical or commercial restrictions. School and group accounts are subject to a separate licence; pupil accounts must be created by an authorised teacher.
Intellectual Property
All course content (text, diagrams, assessment questions, AI-generated explanations, audio) is owned by John Haigh (trading as LearningBro) or our licensors and is protected by copyright. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access the content for your own learning. LearningBro is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by AQA, Pearson Edexcel, OCR, the LNAT Consortium, the UCAT Consortium, IELTS, or any other examination board. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Limitation of Liability
LearningBro is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither LearningBro nor John Haigh (the sole trader operating it) is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will give you reasonable advance notice by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms; if you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the new terms take effect.
Disputes & Alternative Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you have a complaint we cannot resolve directly, you may also contact an Alternative Dispute Resolution provider — we will provide a current ADR option on request. The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform is at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
