The 48 hours before an exam are not the time for heroic last-minute cramming. They are the time for consolidation, preparation, and rest. What you do — and do not do — in these final hours can make a significant difference to your performance.

Logistical problems on exam day create unnecessary stress. Eliminate them in advance:

This is counterintuitive but important: stop studying by early afternoon the day before the exam. Research consistently shows that:
