Indefinite pronouns refer to non-specific people, things, or quantities. They are essential for expressing general statements, negative ideas, and vague references in French. This lesson covers the most important indefinite pronouns.
Note: To add an adjective after quelqu'un, use de + masculine adjective: quelqu'un de sympa, quelqu'un d'important, quelqu'un d'autre (someone else).
Personne is a negative pronoun used with ne:
When personne is the subject, the word order is: Personne + ne + verb. When personne is the object: ne + verb + personne.
