When you encounter Thai text, follow this systematic approach:
1. Identify syllable boundaries (look for consonant clusters and vowel patterns)
2. For each syllable:
a. Find the initial consonant → determine its class
b. Identify the vowel and its length (short/long)
c. Check for tone marks
d. Identify the final consonant (if any)
e. Determine live/dead
f. Apply tone rules
3. Combine syllables into words
4. Use context to determine word boundaries (no spaces!)
