Priya has been quietly unhappy in her relationship with Tom for months. At first she said nothing, but kept brooding that she gives far more than she gets back. Eventually she confronted Tom in a series of heated rows about whether the relationship was worth saving. When that failed, they told their friends and families that they were splitting up. Afterwards, Priya posted online about how she had grown as a person and was glad to be moving on.
