Technology and social media are increasingly important topics in GCSE German. You need vocabulary for devices, online activities, opinions on technology, and awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of social media. This topic appears in all four exam papers.

Exam tip: Being able to discuss both advantages and disadvantages of technology shows balanced thinking. Use structures like einerseits... andererseits (on the one hand... on the other hand) for higher marks.
