Holidays and travel is one of the most important GCSE Spanish topics, tested extensively in all four papers. You need to talk about past holidays, plan future trips, book accommodation and deal with travel problems. This lesson covers essential vocabulary, past and future tenses and model answers.

Exam tip: Booking language is heavily tested in role-plays. Practise both sides of the conversation. Use "quisiera" (I would like) for polite requests — it sounds more natural and scores higher than "quiero" (I want).
