Is it a plan or schedule? → Present tense + time word
Is it a prediction or assumption? → Futur I
Am I guessing about what already happened? → Futur II
Is the verb sein, haben, or a modal? → One-word Konjunktiv II
Is it any other verb? → würde + infinitive
Am I making a conditional (if/then) statement? → wenn + Konjunktiv II
Am I expressing a wish? → Wenn + nur/doch or Ich wünschte
Label each sentence:
Telling a friend about your holiday plans for next summer. → Wir fahren nächsten Sommer nach Griechenland. (Present for future)
A weather forecaster is predicting tomorrow's weather. → Morgen wird es sonnig und warm werden. (Futur I)
You are guessing why your friend is late. → Er wird wohl im Stau stehen. (Futur I — assumption about present)
