The würde + infinitive construction is the most common and versatile way to form the Konjunktiv II in modern spoken German. It works like English "would + verb" and can be used with almost any verb.
Subject + würde (conjugated) + ... + infinitive (at the end)

For the vast majority of German verbs, würde + infinitive is the standard Konjunktiv II form in modern spoken German:
